AORUS preparing GeForce GTX 1060 9Gbps model
AORUS has its tweaked GeForce GTX 1060 9Gbps coming soon.
GIGABYTE is pushing its new range of AORUS-branded GeForce GTX 10 series cards, with their GTX 1080 Ti coming soon - but also the new GTX 1080 11Gbps Xtreme Edition, and now the new AORUS GTX 1060 9Gbps model.
The new AORUS GTX 1060 9Gbps model is exactly what it looks like, a revamped GTX 1060 with its 6GB of GDDR5 RAM clocked up to 9Gbps, compared to the stock 8Gbps frequency. The GPU base/boost clocks are also higher, with 1632/1860MHz (an 8.4% and 8.9% increase over the stock clocks, respectively).
AORUS' new GTX 1060 9Gbps will compete against the upcoming refreshed Radeon RX 580 from AMD.
