If there was a first-person shooter that needed a place on the PC, it would be the Halo franchise - but Microsoft have kept Halo tight to their chest, as it's a system seller for their Xbox consoles.

But, Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition might have console fans happy - but PC gamers might be seeing Halo on the PC sooner, rather than later. Twitter user Gamecheat 13 recently shared two screenshots from Halo Wars: Definitive Edition, which is normally only available through the Windows Store, but has been teased for Steam.

Microsoft made a Halo Wars 2 demo available to PC gamers through the Windows Store earlier this month, weighing in at 17GB.
