Nintendo is gearing up for the massive launch of its next-gen Switch console on March 3, and now its system seller Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is ready, as the game has just gone gold.

The development team celebrated Breath of the Wild going gold, with an image by Monolith Soft developer Yasuyuki Honne posting an image to Twitter.

Monolith helped out by providing some thoughts on how the open world nature of Breath of the Wild should feel, as they had previously worked on Xenoblade Chronicles X.

Nintendo will launch its next-gen Switch console alongside The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and I'm sure the sales are going to be in the healthy many millions mark.
