Rocket League surpasses 25 million players
There are over 25 million gamers playing Rocket League.
Rocket League continues to expand its audience, with developer Psyonix announcing there are now over 25 million registered players.
The developer has managed to secure another 3 million Rocket League players since November 2016, when the company said they had sold 8 million copies of the game, and had nearly 22 million players.
Better yet, around 25% of Rocket League's new players are coming from the PC, and in November the developer said 4.4 million copies of the game had been sold on PC. Right now, Rocket League has sold 5.1 million copies according to SteamSpy's data, which means there's been 700,000 new sales since November 2016.
