ATI have made sure NVIDIA dont get every bit of focus today, as they kick off a new price/performance based graphics card to compete against NVIDIA's new 7600 GT with the "ATI RADEON X1800 GTO".

The card only sports 12 pipelines with the GPU at 500MHz and 256MB GDDR3 memory at 1Ghz (2x500Mhz), but carries a 256-bit memory inferface and has the usual Avivo/CrossFire support and other features expected from the latest X18/1900 series of cards, and at a fairly decent price of $249 too.

ATI's official announcement resides over at their website, and there's a bit of coverage floating around on this latest edition to the RADEON family via the links below folks :-
