Samsung had a rough year with the explosively awesome, but also explosive Galaxy Note 7 smartphone - and now we're hearing more rumbles on the upcoming Galaxy S8, which should rock a 3.5mm headphone jack (thank you, not-so-courageous Samsung) and Bluetooth 5.0 as well.

Bluetooth 5.0 will be an interesting addition, which will allow for faster data transfer speeds over up to 4x longer distances, with less interference, too. Bluetooth 5.0 is also more power efficient, so we should expect the Samsung Galaxy S8 to have slightly improved battery life, joined by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor.
