Surface Phone would rock laptop-class Intel processor

The first Surface Phone will be for the enterprise, should rock laptop-class CPU.

Microsoft will reportedly be launching two Surface Phone smartphones next year, with the higher-end enterprise-class Surface Phone reportedly rocking a laptop-class processor from Intel.

Notorious mobile leaker Evan "@evleaks" Blass said that the purported Surface Phone would arrive in two versions, with the consumer-focused handset receiving a normal SoC, and not the laptop-class processor that the enterprise/higher-end handset would use.

There's not much known on Surface Phone apart from the leaks and concept art, but it's an exciting time for smartphones right now - especially since Microsoft blew their chances multiple times with Nokia and the Lumia handsets.
