Microsoft Paint overhaul leaked, features 3D objects

Microsoft Paint gets a fresh new look, 3D support, more

An overhaul to Microsoft's Paint app has been leaked, and it's a big one. Boasting full-fledged image and 3D object editing capabilities, a fresh new look, and added touch-friendliness, Paint looks like it will offer everything it used to and a whole lot more.

The app seems to be based on the UWP although we can't be 100% on that yet.

As for launch date, you can try it now if you're lucky enough to have received an alpha invite. If not, a wider audience may receive it at Microsoft's Windows 10 event on October 26. Beyond that, speculation suggests sometime next year with the large Redstone 2 update and earlier for Insiders.
