It's been over six years since Firaxis graced us with a full blown Civilization game. There was Beyond Earth, which was a mixed result (even as an Alpha Centauri spiritual successor). Fans of the series are probably trying to quickly forget about that chapter of the franchise in the near future. Come October 21, we finally get a newsworthy installment in Civilization VI and Civ fans should take note as Civ 6 pre-order deals are up to 15% off.
Both Bundle Stars and Green Man Gaming has started taking pre-orders for Civilization VI as of today, and on their respective site there are discounts from 15% off to 20% off depending on region. We say surprising because other PC gaming retailers have kept a tight lid on Civilization VI deals since its announcement back in May. The deals are quite noteworthy as the pricier Deluxe Edition is now only $67 - a far cry from its original $80 list price.

Both GMG and Bundle Stars are fully authorized to sell the game, which means you'll get a the aforementioned discounts along with the pre-order bonus Aztec Civilization Pack. There's nothing too exciting to this pack other than you get to play the Aztec Civilization on day one when the game releases. Those who don't pre-order will still receive the Aztec's Pack for free when the DLC finally becomes available publicly (90 days after the Civ VI game releases according to 2K).
Also available at both retailer is the Civilization VI Digital Deluxe Edition. This edition gets you everything in the standard edition (including the aforementioned Aztec pack), the game's complete soundtrack, and four more DLC packs that will not be available on day one. News on the four DLC packs are light right now, but Firaxis did inform everyone that it's cheaper to buy the Deluxe Edition of the game vs. each DLC pack separately (of course). If you're a hardcore Civ fan, this edition is probably for you.
