DriveClub is getting a huge new update next month, and while most of it is mysterious, one thing is certain. They're adding a mode that'll let you challenge the very limits of your own virtual driving skills.

A tweet posted by the director of the game, Paul Rustchynsky, alluded to the new hardcore game mode and showed off a video of some very precarious driving in horrid weather conditions. It honestly looks like a lot of fun, with the car reacting very well to the various weather effects.

When hardcore mode is turned on, traction control, stability control and any other driving assists are turned off, so you really have to pay attention to the road and what's going on.
