- OCZ Announces PC-4000 EL 1GB Gold Edition

More DDR-1 memory modules from OCZ have just been released, these ones dubbed the PC-4000 EL 1GB Gold Edition. The memory is limited to 1GB a stick, with the option to purchase a dual channel 2GB kit. OCZ stamps the sticks to run at DDR500 with timings of 3-4-4-8.

- GIGABYTE Motherboards to Ship with CyberLink DVD Solutions


A recent announcement from GIGABYTE has it that they intend to start shipping all firewire equipped motherboards with a bundle of digital media authoring tools from none other than Cyberlink (makers of the popular "PowerDVD" DVD playback software). The suite of software included with select GIGABYTE motherboards will include Cyberlink's PowerProducer and their Power2Go data burning software. More info in the official announcement.
