With the Consumer Electronics Show nearly underway, news is coming in thick and fast in every segment of the market. This includes some new rumored specs on Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S7 edge smartphone.

Samsung Galaxy S7 edge rumored to feature 12-megapixel camera |

The latest rumor is from a screenshot that is from the purported Galaxy S7 edge, teasing it will rock a 5.7-inch QHD display (2560x1440), up from the 5.1-inch display on the Galaxy S6 edge. Not only that, but we learn that it will rock 4GB of RAM, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 32GB of storage, and a 12.2-megapixel rear-facing camera backed up by a 5-megapixel selfie shooter.

The 12-megapixel camera is interesting, as the Galaxy S6 edge rocks a 16-megapixel camera. But, we all know that megapixels aren't everything, so Samsung might have made some interesting improvements when it comes to the camera sensor. The Galaxy S6 edge camera is one of the best cameras in a smartphone, so I'm excited to see what the South Korean giant has been able to achieve with the Galaxy S7 edge.
