Windows Phone 8, 8.1 users will have to wait awhile longer for the Windows 10 Mobile update

The Windows 10 Mobile update was supposed to roll out to Windows Phone 8 and 8.1 users this month, but that's been pushed back to a vague early 2016.

Microsoft's statement: "This November we introduced Windows 10 to phones including brand new features such as Continuum and Universal Windows Apps with the introduction of the Lumia 950 and 950 XL. The Windows 10 Mobile upgrade will begin rolling out early next year to select existing Windows 8 and 8.1 phones."

Sadly, which phones will be getting the update still has not been specified.
