Xbox Wireless Adapter now compatible with Windows 7, 8.1
Xbox One controller can now be used wirelessly on Windows 7, 8.1 thanks to expanded Xbox Wireless Adapter support.
The Xbox Wireless Adapter launched with Windows 10 support back in October, and now Microsoft has added Windows 7 and 8.1 compatibility to that list. The news comes way of the Xbox team's Larry Hryb aka Major Nelson.
So, if you're one of those stubborn people not upgrading to Windows 10, you'll still be able to use the Xbox One controller wirelessly with your PC.
