Google has added support for high-resolution audio with its Chromecast Audio device, so you can now experience the aural bliss that is 96KHz/24bit lossless (assuming the song you're playing supports it). For the not-audiophiles, this is even better than the much-revered CD quality audio.
You can also blast that high-resolution audio in every room in the house now too if you feel like it, thanks to the addition of "Multi-room" functionality.
"Setup is simple," explains Google's Tomer Shekel, Product Manager (and "a patron of loud music"). "Connect and set up a Chromecast Audio device for each of your speakers, then use the latest Chromecast app to create a group. You can cast to the group the exact same way you would cast to a single Chromecast device. Anyone with a phone can easily cast without pairing too, so throw a party, sync your home speakers together, and invite your friends to be the DJ."
