Reaching out to us via email, OnePlus representative Eric Zarshenas aimed to clarify some points in a recent article published by TweakTown. The piece in question showcased a possible blame shift towards OnePlus Suppliers, seemingly blaming them for the faulty charger situation.
"Readers may think we are blaming our suppliers, when we are not," explained Zarshenas, "The line you reference is part of a general note in our blog for people's own knowledge about power safety and even provide useful information about certifications. We are not blaming our suppliers or anybody."
This correspondence comes after a Google engineer issued a warning to the public, claiming that the OnePlus 2 bundled USB Type-C cable and adapter may be harmful to some devices.
