Call of Duty rumored to see a third-person Modern Warfare release

Rumors are mounting that Call of Duty will see its next release as Modern Warfare with third-person views

With Call of Duty has becoming a near-Christmas release staple for quite a few years now, Glen Schofield from Sledgehammer Games has taken to Twitter in order to express his excitement towards the next title release, exclaiming: "Can't talk about the game but we listened and I am so f*%#=ing stoked about this one."

An article published by Movie Pilot speculated on this new title, mentioning that Sledgehammer were once working on its own Call of Duty type title. This game was played in third-person and something similar to Uncharted in its game style, instead of the run-and-gun first-person Call of Duty that many players either love or hate.

The public feedback also totes towards a Modern Warfare title release, with the general population seemingly wanting this series to continue on due to various points based around story line, movement, weapon handling and game feel. If the stars align and this third-person possibility from Sledgehammer Games and the Modern Warfare series combine, we will certainly be presented with an interesting title come 2016.
