Microsoft looks to clear its Surface, offers $500AU off for Aussies

Microsoft attempts to clear Surface models with Black Friday sales down under, offering $400AU off its top model

Looking to bring the Black Friday sales down under, Microsoft has announced some large savings to be had on its Surface, Xbox One, Lumia and select laptop models. The main saving here is the surface range, with the tech giant offering up to $500AU off on its top-tier 512GB and Intel Core i7 model.

Smaller savings of $400AU are on offer for the 256GB and i7 model, with the numbers diminishing from there on down across the Core i5 and i3 products. Now also seems to be the right time to invest in a Dell Inspiron laptop, if you're that way inclined. With Gizmodo reporting of a $400AU saving on the Dell Inspiron 15 Signature edition, marking almost 40% off the full pricing.

Black Friday has started to head down under with more companies jumping on this sale opportunity. While it's certainly nothing near the level of what happens in USA, these kind of sales certainly mark a heavily discounted future.
