Reliable source says Apple's next iPhone will include 3GB RAM, next-generation A10 CPU.
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who has an excellent track record regarding Apple leaks, has stated he expects the iPhone 7 Plus will feature 3GB RAM, an upgrade over the 2GB the iPhone 6 Plus offers (the iPhone 7, meanwhile, will house 2GB RAM, the same as the iPhone 6s).
The CPU, meanwhile, is expected to run on a next-generation mobile processor architecture and be known as the A10.
History says the iPhone 7 Plus will launch September 2016.
