You'll need one of the Plex media players, and the latest version of the Plex app to try it out, but the company has made it free - so it doesn't require any in-app purchases or the PlexPass subscription. Plex adds that it's using TVML for the app, versus using a full native version, which is how they were able to get it up and working in just five weeks.
