Partnered with "one of China's biggest game content producers" called ImbaTV, HLTV has announced SLTV's new StarSeries League will feature an impressive $200,000 prize pool for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

This announcement comes four months after the conclusion of SLTV's last season, seeing Na'Vi walk home with first place and $22,000 in its pocket. The new SL i-League StarSeries Finals will see eight teams fighting it out for the top spot, said to be spread across European, North American, CIS and Chinese teams.

Offering $150,000 more than the last event, this season will be hosted in a 18,000 capacity arena during January 2016, with Minsk set as the location. The rise in prize pool also follows a rise in competing teams, with two more spots being on offer compared to the last event.

With $200,000 on offer for CS:GO, this event will also see DOTA 2 and HearthStone competitions take place.
