Based on the best-selling parody novel by Seth Grahame-Smith, the big screen adaptation of 'Pride and Prejudice and Zombies' is on the way and distributor Lionsgate has now released the first trailer.

Based on the classic Jane Austen novel 'Pride and Prejudice' (with the genius addition of ninjas and zombies), the film features the walking dead descend on an alternate Victorian England, with heroine Elizabeth Bennet staving off the zombie threat.

Directed by Burr Steers, produced by Natalie Portman and starring Lily James, Sam Riley, Jack Huston, Bella Heathcote, Matt Smith and Lena Headey, the film will have Jane Austen fans writhing in agony when it releases worldwide early next year.
