Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is one of the biggest professional eSports games out there, so it's no surprise Turner Broadcasting and talent agencies William Morris Endeavor and its subsidiary IMG coming in to collaborate on a new unnamed gaming series that will hit TBS.
Valve is the first to jump on board, with the first season of the new show to be featured around Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, with teams of five going head-to-head in the game for a chance to win some money. Right now, we don't know how much, but we're sure it'll be a decent sum. Two 10-week tournaments will make up the first season, which will include regular-season play, playoffs and a championship match.
TBS will be pushing out shared live content during the first week, leading up to the on-TV content. The company hasn't provided an air date just yet, but Turned along with WME/IMG will share more of their programming details later this year.
