Do you own a OnePlus 2 smartphone? Or maybe you want one, but can't get one? Don't worry, you're not alone. The co-founder of OnePlus, Carl Pei, has said that the launch of the OnePlus 2 hasn't been great, and that "meaningful quantities" will be fulfilled this week.
This is a month later than the company had said, with Pei taking to a forum post saying "we messed up" the launch of the OnePlus 2. He added: "We know that you are rooting for us, and want nothing more than to see us succeed. Therefore, it feels extra terrible to let you down this time around, again".
In a way, you have to admire Pei's frankness - instead of hiding behind promises like other companies do and not delivering. In this case, their second flagship smartphone hasn't launched as they wanted it to, so let's hope that they don't come in threes, hey?
