DICE will be pushing out the new Summer update for Battlefield 4 on September 1 at 9AM UTC / 2AM PDT, something we noticed on Battlelog as I went to play a quick game of BF4.
The Summer update for BF4 will include night versions of Zavod 311, Siege of Shanghai and Golmud Railway, as well as the usual bug fixes, gameplay tweaks, and a tweak to how fast turrets can move on different vehicles. DICE is also testing a 60Hz server tick rate, which improves performance and makes everything snappier.
Another great addition will be the toning down of the bullet traces that DICE introduced in the last patch for Battlefield 4.
