With the creator of Metal Gear Solid all out on his own, it's being reported that Hideo Kojima is in talks with Chinese gaming giant Tencent.

Tencent is seriously large, with stakes in gaming giants like Riot, Activision Blizzard, Epic Games and more. Tencent is reportedly looking to acquire Kojima, where they would work together on new IP, with negotiations between Kojima and Tencent reportedly already taking place.

If Kojima did move over and start some new IP with a backer with deep enough pockets (and the freedom that Kojima requires), we could expect very exciting things from them in the future.
