Coupled with the news that Futuremark will be dropping Peacekeeper browser benchmarking support with the release of Microsoft Windows 10, we have also been informed that the Windows RT version of 3DMark will be removed from the Windows Store alongside seeing 3DMark Vantage on the Steam store will disappear for good.
It is explained that "both of these benchmarks will continue to be supported" in a recently issued press release, coupled with the information that 3DMark Vantage will be available for purcahse from the Futuremark website directly, whereas the Windows RT edition will be available on request for business and enterprise customers only.
In other news, Futuremark ensures that computability testing with the Windows 10 build 10240 has almost reached completion. The recently issued press release ended with Futuremark telling us to "look out for an email from me [Futuremark] next week with our advice on testing Windows 10 PCs and mobile devices with Futuremark benchmarks."
