Earlier in the week, we revealed the news of a 'Tron' ride coming to the new Disneyland Shanghai curently being constructed in China and now the Walt Disney company has fully unveiled the project and expanded on other properties that will be housed at the $5.5b theme park.
According to Deadline Hollywood, the park will house attractions such as the 'Star Wars' Launch Bay, where visitors "will meet heroes and villains, board iconic intergalactic set-pieces, view props and memorabilia from the most recent episode, and be immersed in the Skywalker story through a state-of-the-art cinematic experience", along with the 'Marvel Universe' which will take guests on a "multimedia mission briefing in the world of Marvel, meet popular Marvel superheroes and learn to draw their favourite characters in the style of comic book artists", along with further attractions based on properties such as 'Pirates of the Caribbean', 'Tomorrowland', 'Fantasia' and 'Toy Story'.
Construction on the park began in 2011, and will open to the public next year.
