Samsung has just unveiled its new Galaxy A8 handset, which is incredibly thin at just 5.9mm, while it weighs just 151g (5.3oz). The Galaxy A8 features a 5.7-inch 1080p OLED display, packed into a phone that it oh-my-gosh thin.

The Galaxy A8 also features an 8-core Snapdragon 615 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera, 5-megapixel selfie camera, and a 3050mAh battery. Samsung has included a fingerprint scanner and hand-wave detector into the Galaxy A8, which is impressive considering how thin the Galaxy A8 is.

Samsung has launched the Galaxy A8 in China for now for around $560, without any word on whether it will be made available in the US or Europe anytime soon.
