CS:GO sells up big in the Steam summer sale with $4.5m in sales revenue generated.

Taking a look at the Steam Spy summary of Steam's recent Summer Sales thanks to Games On Net, you'll come to notice that Valve's Counter Strike: Global Offensive sold up big this time around - netting 606,696 sales, marking a 4.46% increase in owners, $4.5 million in revenue and selling at a discount of 50%.

Bringing up second place was the Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition, selling through 394,961 copies, marking a 12% increase in total players at an 85% discounted price of $2.99.

A special mention goes out to Deeponia. Being listed as the most heavily discounted game in the whole sale, this indie adventure game by Daedalic Entertainment was listed at a massive 95% off price of 99 cents and saw just shy of 70,000 total sales.
