NVIDIA expects gamers with a GPU that supports GameWorks will enjoy a special enhancement for Batman: Arkham Knight. The game launches for the PC, Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft One on June 23.

GameWorks adds interactive fog and smoke, interactive paper debris, PhysX destruction, and enhanced rain - and while the game already looked pretty, it looks like NVIDIA's GameWorks pushes things to the next level.

"The team at Rocksteady Studios is continuing work on the epic finale to its Batman: Arkham trilogy," said Ben Wyatt, Technical Director at Rocksteady Studios. "As with our previous games, we are collaborating with NVIDIA to deliver an immersive PC experience by integrating NVIDIA GameWorks - Turbulence, Environmental PhysX, Volumetric Lights, FaceWorks and Rain Effects."
