Tera, a free-to-play MMORPG that launched on May 5 on Steam, is more popular than Eve Online, The Elder Scrolls Online, and Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.
Tera developer En Masse Entertainment said the game peaked with 18,454 concurrent players - significantly higher than Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn (7,401 players), The Elder Scrolls Online (5,067), or Eve Online (3,690).
Tera has quickly become one of the top 10 F2P games available on Steam, with more than 4.5 million users in North America - and more than 20 million accounts across the world. Of course, with the game being available for free, it can help entice gamers to download it and try it out for a few hours.
