As spotted on the Mana Bar founder's Facebook page, the first Australian video gaming social bar has ended it's long run after opening on the 20th of March, 2010 in Brisbane, Australia.

Sentimental towards the news of this closure, founder Guy 'Yug' Blomberg added his own thoughts on Facebook: "And so ends a wonderfully crazy experiment. I'm proud of what we started, I'm proud of what Cormac [current owner] tried to do, and I'm proud of all the video game bars popping up all over the world now." "[I] would love people to share any of their stories at the bar below," the PAX Australia facilitator added.

The quote as seen in the image above was posted by the official Mana Bar Facebook page, accompanied with the text "Excerpt from Seeress of Kell epilogue by David Eddings. Mana Bar will be closing its doors effective this Sunday the 24th of May. Thanks to everyone who's made it the sweet ride it was."

Tributes have started flowing in towards the Mana Bar staff, fans and memories associated with the overall project.
