After announcing its ZenFone 2 recently to much acclaim, ASUS Chairman Jonney Shih has told users in the United States and Canada to expect this product in their hands soon.

Taking place at an event in Manhattan, the event was all about showing off the ZenFone 2 and new ZenBook alongside artistic and acrobatic dance performances to help drive home ASUS' flair for this smartphone.

This new flagship phone comes packed with a 13MP camera, dual-SIM capabilities and will be offered to the United States public contract-free. Confident in its design, Shih stated that his new product is the "striking the perfect balance of beauty, functionality, and performance" adding that the "ZenFone 2 embodies every aspect of the ASUS In Search of Incredible brand spirit to provide an unparalleled experience to users."

If you're more interested in the inner workings than simply the design, the ZenFone 2 will be backed by an Intel LTE-Advanced XMM 7260 modem0 and an Intel Atom 64-bit processor, as pointed out at the same event by Intel Corporate Vice President and General Manager of the Communication and Devices, Aicha Evans.
