Raptr has officially launched Plays.tv, a new video-centric service so casual gamers can share and browse gaming video clips and photos. The service is now out of beta, so gamers are able to capture, edit, and share gameplay clips and post them on their own Plays.tv feed - and for other social networks.
"Dedicated to celebrating the pro in every gamer, Plays.tv gives all players a new way to memorialize their epic wins and fails as well as a community centered on reliving those moments with others," a Plays.tv blog reads. "New site features added in our latest update make it easy to find the most interesting videos. Browse by game, player, or hashtag to see all the #CSGO #ace clips, for example."
Raptr already works closely with Intel and AMD to make sure its software is optimized for PC gamers - and is looking for new strategies so they can cater to casual gamers. For gamers that don't have the Raptr and AMD Gaming Evolved GVR capture features, a standalone Plays.tv client is available to download for free.
