Since the first Call of Duty video game launched more than 10 years ago, 175 million copies have been sold worldwide - one copy sold approximately every two seconds, Activision has confirmed.
In addition, more than 100 billion multiplayer matches have been played online, with more than 300 billion grenades thrown.
Call of Duty still hasn't been able to keep up with Take-Two's Grand Theft Auto, selling more than 185 million copies. But CoD has racked up better sales than LEGO, Mario, FIFA, Final Fantasy, Pokemon, and Need for Speed - with all the series able to rack up more than 100 million units sold.
