Making his name in the Counter Strike 1.6 scene with his Ukranian team Natus Vincere, Starix made the transition into CS:GO with varying success.

Due to his low performance in the recent ESL Katowice CS:GO tournament, he has stepped down from the active CS:GO squad and will be taking up a position as a team coach and manager.

Tributes have started flooding in for this well respected professional gamer, with the 27 year old racking up an impressive 9,444 rounds played, 360 maps and 6,160 total kills in world-wide tournaments.
