Sony is reporting letting its most precious PlayStation 4 owners to beta test its latest version 2.50 firmware, something that will reportedly provide the ability of putting the PS4 into a rest state, without turning off games and applications.

The news is coming from someone who has leaked out the email that Sony sent to its PlayStation MVPs, that they can opt-in to the new v2.50 firmware if they wanted to. Select PlayStation MVPs received a message through the PlayStation Network, where they received a voucher to download the new v2.50 firmware beta, but they have to install it before March 9.
