Universal and Turn 10 have teamed up to launch Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious for free, and it will be a standalone title not requiring Forza Horizon 2. The title will launch on March 27 for the Microsoft Xbox 360 and Xbox One game consoles. The game will cost $10 after April 10.
The vehicles in the game will be the same ones as in "Furious 7," which will hit the box office on April 3. Cars include the 1970 Dodge Charger R/T, the vehicle of choice for Dominic Toretto (played by Vin Diesel).
"We've been talking with the folks at Turn 10 for a number of years and have always wanted to work together," said Bill Kispert, executive VP of digital licensing at Universal. "It was a matter of schedules, capacity and a film coming together at the right time. It finally has, and we're excited to collaborate with Turn 10."
