Directly competing with NVIDIA's soon to be released nForce4, VIA have announced their latest Athlon64 chipset bringing PCIe into play; K8T890. All the features of the popular K8T800 Pro are still there of course, with the "Pro" flavour of the new K8T890 also offering dual PEG slots to make use of NVIDIA's SLI technology should you feel the need. You can get the full scoop within VIA's official press release at their website.
