- Zensonic's surround sound hits thundering new heights

People on a strict budget are often hesitant to go 5.1 as it usually means sticking to low end integrated home theatre systems or surround PC speakers, well fear no more! Australian company Zensonic are releasing their very aggresively priced set of 5.1 Z800's in October which look to be a hell of a lot more hardcore then your usual 5.1 PC speaker kit. They even use aluminium cones which were previously a rare attribute only found in pro audio speakers. The subby alone dishes out 150w RMS which is almost always more than enough to get the full experience (and annoy the crap out of your neighbours at the same time). The aussie PR states a price tag of only $999AUD ($700USD) for the complete set. Grab it here folks.

Australian home theatre designer Zensonic has announced a 5.1 surround speaker system which delivers thundering home theatre sound at a breakthrough price point of $999 and shipping in October. The Zensonic Z800 range of speakers use aluminium cones previously found mainly in pro audio speakers. Aluminium provides superior stiffness for powerful home theatre sound with negligible distortion. All five speakers are magnetically shielded, allowing placement close to a television without visual interference. Removable speaker baffle plates allow the stylish aluminium cones to be displayed.
