Apple is rumored to be working on a new 4-inch iPhone, something that could feature Touch ID and more.

The latest rumors on Apple have the company rumored to be working on a new 4-inch smartphone, which is a surprise considering the company just moved away from the 4-inch iPhone for the new 4.7-inch iPhone 6, and 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus.

WCCFTech is reporting from Japanese sources that there is a plan to replace the iPhone 5C with a new 4-inch smartphone, something that would feature Apple's Touch ID sensor. Apple is said to continue its smartphone standardization with the 4-inch iPhone, having three sizes of iPhones going into the future: 4-inch, 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch.
