- Shuttle at the CyberAthlete Extreme World Championships

Yesterday I informed you of Corsair's affiliation with the CyberAthlete Extreme World ChampionShips this year. Starting yesterday and running through to the 1st of August at the "Gaylord" Texan Resort in Grapevine, Texas (chuckles...), now it's Shuttle's turn to let everyone know of their involvement, this being for three consecutive years now. They've announced their sponsorship for the event, providing a mass of XPC's to be used during the contest, and also highlight the success of this year in particular with a record breaking 4,000 participants fighting it out to get their hands on a share of the many prizes lined up. More in Shuttle's official PR folks.

Grapevine, Texas - July 28, 2004) Shuttle Inc, the leading designer and manufacturer of small form factor (SFF) computers and accessories, is proud to announce its sponsorship of the Cyberathlete Professional League's CyberAthlete Extreme World Championships from July 28 through August 1, 2004 at the magnificent new Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine, Texas. This year's event is the largest and richest ever with over 4,000 participants from dozens of countries vying for hundreds of thousand of dollars in cash and prizes.

"For the third year running, we are proud to be a sponsor of and exhibitor at this world-class event," said Cameron Rogers, marketing director, Shuttle. "The Extreme World Championship is a perfect venue for showcasing the performance, style and ergonomics of the Shuttle XPC."
