Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare launches on November 4, but you'd better have some HDD space free, as well as copious amounts of RAM. The new Call of Duty requires 6GB of RAM, which we've previously reported, but the required HDD space has been increased from 40GB to 55GB.
The update on the HDD requirements are thanks to Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's system requirements on Steam, which state it will only work on 64-bit versions of Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1, as well as requiring 6GB of RAM and 55GB of available HDD space. The last game in the series, Call of Duty: Ghosts, required 6GB of RAM and 40GB of HDD space, but the 6GB of RAM requirement was later reduced.
