Grand Theft Auto V on the PS4 requires 50GB of HDD space

The next-gen version of Grand Theft Auto V looks like it requires 50GB of HDD space

The next-gen version of Grand Theft Auto V is nearly here, with the latest report that the PS4 version of the game is going to require a massive 50GB of HDD space free for the installation.

The news is coming from the GTA Forums, where someone has taken a screencap of GTA V's European listing, where it mentions "50GB minimum save size". With the PS4 featuring a 500GB HDD, that is 1/10 of the HDD gone for a single game. The biggest game installs on the PS4 so far have been Wolfenstein: The New Order clocking in at around 43.7GB, while The Last of Us: Remastered requires around 40GB of HDD space.

Something else that is listed on the details for GTA V on PS4 is a tease of PlayStation Move support, for "motion control features". We don't know what this means yet, whether we're going to get some physical movements within the game for using a bat or gun, or driving a car, but this is an exciting time for GTA V fans - free up some HDD space though, PS4 users.
