OnePlus hit the headlines this year with its OnePlus One smartphone, but failed to grab much marketshare with issues of producing enoguh smartphones and getting it into consumers' hands quick enough.
But, we're hearing about the OnePlus One 2 now, and during a recent interview on Reddit, Carl and David from OnePlus answered a slew of questions about the future of OnePlus, and their upcoming devices. They were asked if Android L would appear on an upcoming OnePlus device, with Carl saying: "OnePlus 2 should be out in Q2 or Q3 of 2015. By that time, I'd think Android L would be standard. :)"
Carl also responded to users' claims that they found the form factor of the OnePlus One to be too large, where he replied: "We've seen a lot of people asking for a smaller device, and want to let everyone know that we hear you. We're thinking about it". Even right now, the OnePlus One isn't available commercially, but the company will be launching its pre-order program by the end of next month, where it should sell smartphones at a faster rate than its current invite-only program allows.
