The leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Kim Jong-un has not been seen at official events or on state television for three weeks, with the latter confirming the Supreme Leader is suffering "discomfort".
According to a source outside the secretive state, Jong-un is speculated to be suffering from gout, a build up of uric acid that overwhelming strikes older people, leading to joint inflammation. Jong-un's poor diet would seem to be a culprit in this instance. However, the absence of official word has led to other speculation that a power struggle is afoot, or that he's simply on holidays.
The UK newspaper The Mirror has also helpfully posited that Jong-un has become addicted to Swiss cheese. Such is the craziness of North Korea.
