The last James Bond film; 'Skyfall' was released 2 years ago this November and grossed a record $1.1 billion worldwide - in fact its the ninth highest grossing picture of all time. So why has it taken so long to get the next into production?
According to a report posted at the Dail Mail, the script written by John 'Gladiator' Logan has been overhauled by franchise regulars Robert Wade and Neal Purvis in the same manner that was performed for 'Skyfall'. Now it seems that the pre-production issues have been ironed out, with the final script having been delivered, it's now all green for the next Bond picture which is set to begin production in early December.
The as-yet untitled 24th Bond picture is set to be released on October 23rd 2015, directed by Sam Mendes.
