The upcoming League of Legends 2014 World Championship will be a sell out according to Riot Games' EVP of eSports Dustin Beck, with the championship taking place in Sangam Stadium in Seoul, South Korea.
Beck spoke to Polygon, where he said that the venue can take 65,000 people, but after Riot is done with its epic stage design the stadium will take 45,000 people. He added: "We do expect to sell out. Our early ticket sales have all sold out. We're trying to create more capacity and flexibility, but so far so good."
Last year's World Championship was held in Staples Center in LA, also selling out, but could hold a little over 12,000 people. The finals drew a huge 32 million viewers online last year, with a peak of 8.5 million concurrent viewers.
