One of the more successful summer blockbusters from 2014, the latest entry in the 'X-Men' saga; 'Days of Future Past' had a good summer, generating nearly $750 million at the worldwide box office. Twentieth Century Fox has given the heads up to Australian retailers to expect the Blu-ray to be released on October 14th, on the same day as the U.S. release.
Whilst the local arm of Fox have yet to confirm the disc specifications, the contents should mirror that of the U.S. release, which comes packed with multiple featurettes, deleted scenes, a gag reel and a second screen app.
An extended cut of the film is coming, having been confirmed by producer Lauren Shuler Donner, however the longer cut will now be released in 2015.
Fox are immediately moving forward with the next installment in the franchise 'X-Men: Apocalypse', which is due for release in May 2016.
